Para KIDS! and Newark Public School District Launch Transformative Bilingual Literacy Initiative

Para KIDS!, a leading advocate for bilingual education, is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with the Newark Public School District (NPS) to distribute 1,000 bilingual children’s books and host a series of bilingual literacy workshops across NPS elementary schools.
This collaboration marks a significant step toward fostering language equity and cultural pride in Newark’s diverse student population. Through this initiative, Para KIDS! and NPS aim to empower students, families, and educators with joyful, culturally relevant resources that celebrate the richness of bilingualism.
Key Highlights
-1,000 Bilingual Books Distributed:
NPS elementary school students will receive authentic Spanish and English bilingual books to support growth during the key window for language learning.
-Bilingual Literacy Workshops:
Para KIDS! will host interactive bilingual workshops for students designed to build language skills, boost confidence, and inspire a lifelong love of reading.
