Para KIDS! Awarded Prudential Community Grant to Launch Inaugural Bilingual Literacy Summer Camp in Newark

NEWARK, NJ — Para KIDS! is pleased to announce its selection as a recipient of the Prudential Community Grants Program 2026.
From a highly competitive field of over 700 applicants, Para KIDS! was one of only 100 organizations identified for its potential to drive measurable community development and educational equity in the City of Newark, New Jersey.
The grant, administered in coordination with the Community Foundation of New Jersey (CFNJ) and the City of Newark, will catalyze the launch of the Para KIDS! Inaugural Bilingual Literacy Summer Camp. This strategic initiative will be executed in collaboration with the Van Buren Branch of the Newark Public Library, creating a critical hub for linguistic development in the city’s East Ward.
