It all started with a big sister who
wanted more for her little brother.
Growing up, I saw firsthand how language barriers can affect a child’s confidence, connection, and sense of belonging.
I refused to let my little brother Xavier grow up without all the benefits that come from being bilingual. It was my love for my brother that pushed me to create Para KIDS!
Inspired by my own experience as an English-language learner...
I set out to create bilingual books, media, and experiences that help children see themselves reflected while building the language skills and confidence to thrive.
P.S. My little brother Xavier is now fully bilingual, making me the proudest sister in the world!
